What is SmoothEye?
Fotona SmoothEye is a non-invasive laser treatment designed to rejuvenate the periocular region. It utilizes Fotona’s laser to improve skin laxity, reduce wrinkles, and enhance overall skin quality around the eyes without downtime.
Mechanism of Action
SmoothEye delivers controlled, sub-ablative thermal energy to the periocular tissue using laser technology. This energy penetrates the superficial dermis without damaging the skin surface, creating a uniform heating effect.
This process:

The SMOOTH® mode uses a “feather-like” delivery of energy with precise temperature control, allowing safe treatment of the delicate eye area while avoiding surface ablation or bleeding.

Our Approach
Treatment Protocol
A standard protocol includes:

Recovery and Downtime
SmoothEye is well tolerated and requires little to no downtime. Aftercare includes:

Keep area moisturized and use SPF for 2 weeks

Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy sweating, saunas, and extremely hot showers for 1-2 days after. While light activity is generally fine, preventing sweat and heat buildup is crucial during the first two days to minimize inflammation, swelling, and risk of infection in the treated area.
Clinical Considerations
Results are gradual and dependent on collagen remodeling, and outcomes will not replicate surgical intervention. Multiple sessions are required for optimal results, and maintenance treatments may be needed.
