Waxing

What is Waxing?

Waxing is a semi-permanent hair removal method that removes hair from the root using warm wax. It is commonly used by individuals who want smooth skin that lasts longer than shaving, for areas such as the face, underarms, arms, and legs.

How Does It Work?

Warm wax is applied to the skin in the direction of hair growth, then removed quickly against it, taking the hair out from the root. A soothing product is usually applied afterward. It may help:

  • Remove hair, including fine hairs, in a single treatment

  • Leave skin feeling smooth for several weeks

  • Gradually result in finer, softer regrowth over time

  • Lightly exfoliate the skin as the wax is removed

This process is intended to give you smooth, clean results with fewer touch-ups than shaving.

What Can It Help With?

Waxing may help with:

  • Unwanted facial hair (brows, upper lip, chin, sideburns)

  • Underarm hair

  • Arm and leg hair

  • Back, chest, or stomach hair

  • Stubble and frequent shaving between events

What Can You Expect?

  • Smooth skin right after your appointment

  • Results that typically last about 3 to 6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle

  • Finer, softer regrowth for some clients with regular visits

  • Best results when hair is about ¼ inch long and paired with proper aftercare
